Our take: this Hayward location of L'Amour Shoppe is a large, reasonably priced adult store on Main Street, and shoppers regularly call out the deep selection of toys, intimates, and costumes at fair prices, along with genuinely helpful, knowledgeable sales staff. On the strength of inventory and value, it is one of the better-stocked options in the southern East Bay. The recurring complaint is store policy: several shoppers describe a browsing time limit that is unevenly enforced, and a couple mention feeling watched or hassled by security, including one longtime paying customer.
