1. Acceptance of these terms

Sex Shop Maps (“Sex Shop Maps,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at sexshopmaps.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Who can use the Site

The Site catalogs retail businesses that sell adult products. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to view adult-retail directory information in your jurisdiction. We may restrict access by region without notice.

3. What the Site is, and what it is not

The Site is an editorial directory of independent retail stores. It aggregates publicly-available business listings, addresses, hours, contact information, and customer feedback that has been published to public sources, and presents synthesized editorial commentary alongside that information.

The Site does not sell, ship, or deliver any products. It does not operate, own, or have any business affiliation with any of the stores listed unless explicitly stated. References to specific brand names, store names, employee names, or trademarks are nominative — used to identify the subject of the listing — and do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

4. Editorial content and customer-voice synthesis

Editorial sections such as “Our take” and customer-voice summaries (including “What customers say,” “Customers love,” and “Customers caution”) are synthesized from public customer reviews published on third-party platforms (including but not limited to Google Maps). These synthesized characterizations represent the opinions of the original reviewers as we understood them in aggregate, not statements of fact by Sex Shop Maps.

Where staff members, managers, or other individuals are referenced in editorial content, those references summarize the content of public customer reviews referring to those individuals by the names the reviewers used. Sex Shop Maps does not independently verify the identity of any named individual and does not endorse any characterization made by a reviewer.

If you are referenced in editorial content and would like that reference removed, see /contact/ and our removals process below. We honor reasonable removal requests promptly.

5. Imagery

Photographs displayed on store-detail pages were sourced from public business listings on third-party platforms. We do not claim copyright in any photograph. If you are the copyright holder of any image displayed on the Site and you wish it removed, please send a request through our contact form with the page URL and the content to remove.

6. Removals and corrections

Business owners, employees, photographers, and individuals named in any content on the Site may request removal of that content through our contact form (choose the removal reason that fits your situation, and include the page URL and the specific content to be removed). We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and process valid requests promptly. A request from a clearly-identified party is sufficient; we do not require an explanation.

For general factual corrections (wrong hours, wrong address, closed store), use our contact form (choose “Correction” as the reason).

7. Accuracy and availability

We do not warrant that listings, hours, prices, contact information, photos, or editorial content are accurate, complete, current, or free from errors. Information on the Site may be out of date. Always verify with the business directly before visiting or making a purchase.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be available without interruption, free of bugs, or secure. Use of the Site is at your own risk.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site to harass, defame, threaten, or harm any person or business.
  • Scrape, copy, or republish Site content at scale without our written permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems.
  • Use the Site in violation of any applicable law.

9. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites including business websites and map services. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or accuracy of any third-party site.

10. Trademarks

All store names, brand names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners. References are nominative and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEX SHOP MAPS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sex Shop Maps and its operators from any claim, demand, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Effective date” at the top of this page reflects the most-recent revision.

15. Governing law and venue
