Let me just start off by saying I have had nothing short of an exceptional experience every time I have visited this store until last night and it was the worst customer experience not just with this store but in general - my whole life- - ever. So it all started when I made a purchase last night with the click and collect option, it was one item and I was in my trackies and just wanted to get in and out. After I made the purchase I received the email stating the order would be ready in 48 hours. I had purchased from this store online many times, but I genuinely forgot that its not exactly "instant" as it has never been an issue when I have purchased online before. And to be honest it wasn't the first time I had forgotten about this, and every other time I have been able to call the store and get them to get my order ready for me as soon as they were able to. Well I called the store last night hoping for the same and this is how it went down. No word of a lie: Nate: Answers phone in a the most monotone I cbf voice Dana: Hey there, I have a bit of a pickle I was hoping you could help with me with... *waits for him to say something, awkward silence* Dana: So I made a purchase online, i forgot about the 48 hour wait, its just one thing though, and I really need it, are you able to get it ready for me at some stage before you close so I can pick it up Nate: NO. we dont do that im sorry. Dana: ummm what do you mean? I have been in this position before and your staff helped me out with no issues Nate: Well i am really busy i cant do that for you sorry Dana: Can I please speak to your manager? Nate: no Dana: Why not? Nate: Because I am here by myself tonight. Dana: You are working by yourself? Nate: Yes Dana: and you dont think you will have 5 mins between now and when you close which is in 3 hours to get one item off the shelf and ready for me to pick up Nate: Exactly Dana: So, just to confirm because im so shocked at the way you are treating me, you are telling me that you are too busy to pick one item off the shelf for a click and collect order?? Nate: *hangs up the phone in my face* My partner and I just look at each other in complete disbelief. Anyway, I head to the store thinking I am going to walk in and this guy is going to be run off his feet, poor guy is so busy he couldn't even use his manners to say goodbye before hanging up the phone on me. Nope, I walk in and he is literally standing behind the counter having a chat WITH THE OTHER EMPLOYEE WHO WAS WORKING. I admit i was furious and I said "so much for being so effing busy, right nate"? and he knew who I was straight away. and then I said "oh and so much for working alone, and being too busy to get one item off the shelf yeah nate"? and he literally just ignored me, and continued to walk away and stand at the counter doing nothing. I asked the woman, who was wonderful by the way, to help me and she did. I don't think she had any idea what he had done, maybe she was on break or with a customer and didn't know he had answered the phone and literally treated me like absolute garbage and hung up on me. The audacity. So basically if you go there, and there is a dude with green hair, stay away because he is a c *. Will be reporting to your head office too. You gave me so much anxiety i couldn't even breathe properly. I know you have cameras in store so everything I am saying can and should be verified.
